Souhila Maalem
Souhila Maalem is a prominent Algerian actress, born on June 13, 1988, in Algiers. She became widely known by the nickname “Bibicha” through her role in the popular comedy series “Bibich and Bibicha,” which achieved widespread success across the Arab world.
Education and Early Career
Souhila earned a law degree from the University of Algiers 1, but her entry into the world of acting happened by chance. In 2008, she participated in the show “Jamaâ Family” broadcast on ENTV, where she was noticed by director Djaâfar Gacem. He offered her a role in the comedy series “Djemaâ Family” (2008–2009), where she portrayed the character “Fati,” marking the beginning of her artistic journey.

“Bibich and Bibicha”: She portrayed the character “Bibicha,” which earned her widespread popularity.
“Sultan Ashour 10”: She played “Sultana Abla,” a character known for her bravery and support for the poor.
